| HAVING TROUBLE POSTING??? READ ON FOR AN EASY SOLUTION! - - - I have recently become aware that some folks are having trouble posting on our board. In fact, I too, have had some trouble getting my posts to record since the installation of 'captcha', the code application that prevents the robotic posts that I had to deal with on a daily basis for quite some time a while back. Some days there were upwards of a hundred ads posted, offering everything form handbags to sport cars, from movie rentals to adult sites, etc. I have learned that some Internet Explorer functions can cause a captcha encoded script to be cancelled upon submitting it. I am not advertising anything but free Mozilla Firefox browser is not affected in this way, and capthca encoded posts will be recorded and displayed on our board. This post is my example! You can have I.E. and Firefox on your computer as well as I.E., as I do, and use each as you wish. I am presently using Firefox on my laptop to post this message, which I have not been able to do for some time! If you have any questions about this please email me and I'll send you all I have learned about it. If you try to post a message and it is not accepted, send it and all the associated info. to me and I will post it for you. Rich |
